The lack of roadshows south east of Cambridge is very disappointing. Our nearest are in central Cambridge. The 'online in a digital-first format' and social media emphasis immediately excludes those who rarely use the Internet or are offline completely. We suggest that you engage with local community groups, for example Residents Associations, Parish Councils and Third Sector organisations in order to reach the above mentioned.

We note that no mention is given to the continued growth of Haverhill and approval for warehousing and logistics facilities that would be banned under the SCDC 2018 Local Plan Polcy E/11. The Greater Cambridge local plan should seek to provide more sustainable transport options for those travelling from Haverhill and not support businesses that generate disproportionate amounts of HGV traffic.

We support the key ideas raised in tackling climate change. We would also like to see practical solutions to support existing smaller rural communities to improve their carbon footprint. For example allowing appropriate improvements to older buildings and delivering better public transport and cycle routes.
