Full text:

Rustat Neighbourhood Association met with c 30 residents on 17 January 2026. Agree need to retain retail and leisure facilities. Densification implies building up. Do not build up where blocks light for existing residents on Rustat Avenue/Road. Housing for residents/families required. Mixed use site has different needs: Many students and visitors as well as residents. How will site cater for all? Water scarcity and holding developers to environmental standards a key concern. Interface with planned EWR entrance on Clifton Road/Gloria Carpenter Park not well developed. Requires more resident input. How will Local Plan interface with other Plans/consultations.
