A frequent 'shuttle bus', say a minimum of every 15 minutes, could be provided from Cambridge North railway station to the whole NEC area, encouraging employees of the existing Science Parks and the wider NEC to use the new Cambridge North rather than rely on the current mode of choice, the car.
Better use of the existing underutilised Milton Road Park and Ride site. We suggest that this site could deliver a 'car barn' concept, shuttlebus service and deliver a range of cycle and pedestrian improvements, thereby reducing the overall impact of the NEC on this key part of the highway network.
