North East Cambridge Area Action Plan Issues and Options 2019

Representation ID: 32980

Received: 24/03/2019

Respondent: Mrs Anna Williams

Representation Summary:

If the development is integrated with the local communities it could bring many benefits to those protected under the Equality Act with better facilities for all ages and cycling and pedestrian links that improve access for under-16s, older people and those with mobility issues.

However, I strongly disagree that the consultation document has been written with minimal use of jargon and feel that its length, approach and method of collecting feedback raises huge barriers to consultation with many groups in the area, including the Traveller community. Better ways of gathering feedback and ideas must be included in future consultations.
