North East Cambridge Area Action Plan Issues and Options 2019

Representation ID: 32881

Received: 24/03/2019

Respondent: Jeremy Bickerstaffe

Representation Summary:

The scheme does not treat all its neighbours equally. The science park already attracts plenty of investment and improvements, and this scheme proposes more improvements for an already good area. The gypsies and travellers on the other side of the railway live in relative poverty and are not seen as worthy of investing in. Surely the biggest gains for the area are with the people who are least well off, not those who already have a lot. I beg you: extend the boundary of the scheme so that everyone benefits, not just those who already have connections. Reduce social inequality.
