I absolutely do NOT agree. Adequate car parking MUST be provided for residents to keep their car next to their home. Failure to do this results in either overspill parking to the nearest alternative area, bunkers where cars are stored, or people outright rejecting these areas as places to live in favour of further-flung places where they can have a car and use it for whatever purposes they want to - which then again increases the number of car trips made.
