One of the major constraints is the ability to relocate the sewage works; so far I have found no discussion of to where they would be relocated, or anything about the issues involved in the relocation (e.g. what areas of land would need to be dug up for the installation of pipework).
In considering sites for any such relocation, thought needs to be given to: the vertical height difference between the current location and the new; adverse effects on communities near the new site; flood risk to the new site; adverse effect on the green belt and the environment.
