Healthcare - It is unclear from Fix D whether it is expected that heathcare facilities (e.g. doctor, dentist) will be provided in the village centre (as suggested in Deliver Plan item 41), or whether residents are expected to use existing facilities nearby. If the latter, then consideration must be given to the capacity of those facilities and travel arrangements - many patients of these facilities are elderly or unwell and therefore so unable to walk/cycle any distance. For example:
-- Section 2.8 suggests expansion of Monkfield in Cambourne may be needed but doesn't comment on whether this is actually feasible once other developments planned for Cambourne have been factored in.

-- Section 2.8 also observes that there is a surgery in Bourn however fails to note that policy SS/7 prevents vehicle direct access to Bourn. If the expectation is that residents will use this facility, the likely driving route is along the narrow Main Street through Caldecote.
