Draft Bourn Airfield Supplementary Planning Document - June 2019

Representation ID: 167950

Received: 19/07/2019

Respondent: Ms. Sheila Thomas

Representation Summary:

If the new community is to be encouraged to walk or cycle, it is essential the so-called "Centre" actually be more central, so as to be within easy reach of the majority of residents. This will put the schools a good distance from the pollution generated by vehicles on the roads to the north of the site, as well as reducing car journeys within the village boundaries. The facilities in this Centre needs to include a health centre, as getting an appointment with the doctors in the local surgeries we have now is extremely difficult, so there is very little scope for them to take on more patients.
