Who can really answer that question?! You cannot put a black ball and chain on people and keep them working next to their homes as you cannot make parents choose the local school for their children. I understand the idea of a Science Park was originally for start up businesses but I don’t think their are many there now. You can have your ideas, but....

More homes are needed somewhere and there is a case for expansion off the Science Park. However, I do not support a large development in this area or the creation of jobs to attract more people to the South East.

Agree that employment within reach of public transport/cycling is important. 20,000 new jobs sounds a bit unrealistic.

There is no guarantee that new residents will be the ones to get the new jobs. Increase in remote working and working from homes compromises to some degree the rationale for this development.
