Reference to Policy 77 of the Local Plan whereby the Council will "treat" aparthotels as residential uses for the purposes of affordable housing provision is not appropriate and we have objected to this policy in the emerging plan. It follows that if the Inspector agrees with us that this policy approach is unsound then the Affordable Housing SPD will need to be amended.

Reference to Policy 77 of the Local Plan whereby the Council will "treat" aparthotels as residential uses for the purposes of affordable housing provision is not appropriate and we have objected to this policy in the emerging plan.
