Land Opposite 16 St Matthew's Street, Cambridge CB1 2LT (Site ID 116434) has been submitted for for use as open space / green infrastructure in the Local Plan.
To our knowledge of this site (since 1980) it has never been used for anything other than as a small plot of green space. In the centre of which stands a fine Silver Maple Tree aged 80+ years.
The site should have zero use as residential, non-residential or mixed-use development. It should remain as a pocket of precious and rare green space in this densely built-up ward.
