Wysing Arts Centre and Create Cambridge ask that:

• partnership/shared-service capacity is resourced
• Creative Commons approaches are included as part of long-term stability, not only meanwhile use
• Create Cambridge is engaged as advisor/consultee on the further development of the Cultural Infrastructure Strategy

Respondent: Wysing Arts Centre
I support Create Cambridge in asking that:
• delivery of a cultural anchor (venue, arts centre or artist studios) is required in Phase 1
• cultural provision is not deferred to later phases, where it is at risk of non-delivery
• Create Cambridge is engaged as an advisor/consultee on plans and proposals for cultural infrastructure as part of new developments
Early cultural infrastructure is essential to avoid dormitory development and support identity, cohesion and liveability.
