The Cambridge Biomedical Campus and immediate area will benefit from significant planned improvements in transport infrastructure, including from the Cambridge South Station and CSET extension. It is an appropriate, sustainable location at which to plan further development.

The expansion of the Campus into the identified Area of Major Change is an opportunity to bring development at a scale that can provide access to new infrastructure to address existing deficits, in a location that can reduce rather than add pressure to existing transport networks.
