We support the acknowledgement in emerging policy of the need for heritage assets to be adapted for climate change, however it would be helpful to have greater definition regarding what interventions necessary to end reliance of heritage assets on fossil fuel will be acceptable. The cities of Bath and Oxford provide good examples in this regard.
