The Ninewells development was promised as a "soft edge" to the city, with green spaces permeating the edge of the development. If that green space is now replaced with development as proposed by the Plan, that promise is broken. It would go against almost all of the admirable statements in the three paragraphs above. Ninewells and the southern edge of the city will cease to be a "great place".
