The possibility of a new college, or college style site should be left open. Taking the principle of providing space for "more Cambridge". Dense communal living might be suited for some of those working in the area, as well as for students.

There should be space for events, markets, street trading.

Consider where those living and working in the area going to watch the Mars landings. At their desks and in their rooms on their phones; or together in public spaces?

Particularly in light of the fact so much land in the area is publicly owned I would hope to see the encouragement of socially positive activities which might otherwise not be economically viable, eg. though the provision of small shop units.

Consider what "community" space a community centred on high-tech businesses require, eg. lecture and conferencing space; meeting space.

Encouragement should be given to the siting of appropriate scientific facilities/equipment/infrastructure on the site, particularly where it can be used by others in the area, and the wider city / region.
