Reducing parking provision without seriously viable alternative methods of accessing the site will only damage the long term desirability of the Science Park as a technology hub. Work needs to be done with business' to reduce car usage using incentives rather than a policy of frustration.
In Reading for example - Microsoft has collaborated with Bus services to ferry staff from known locations to the main campus reducing need for cars on site.
