This makes sense for aforementioned reasons. Specifically it might resolve an issue with heavy industrial traffic causing hazards and air quality issues for children attending Shirley primary school. However, this issue could also be resolved by providing direct access from Milton road via a short section of the busway relieving pressure on Green End Road and Chesteton High Street as well. I think this should be investigated whether the area is developed for housing or not.
