Representation Summary:
I am one of two Designing out Crime Officers, employed with Cambridgeshire Police. Our job involves working with architects, developers and the planning departments across Cambridgeshire using our expertise to 'design out crime' thus promoting community safety and reducing vulnerability to crime. With the potential growth in both business and residential accommodation being discussed we would ask to be part of any consultation as the project progresses especially in regards to all types of housing and especially affordable and key worker accommodation.
