Representation Summary:
High density development requires sufficient open space for people to be able to be able to relax, get outside and exercise as they do not necessarily have their own personal space to undertake such activity. Good quality design in this respect is very important to cater for a range of uses. Careful design to ensure that the tall buildings set close to the road do not create a corridor of brick and concrete without sufficient landscaping or open space to break this up.
