What guarantees are there that there is a sufficient water supply. Have impacts on Cam Washes and Wicken fen been considered?
Page 108 32. Water stress quote "Waterbeach is located within an area of serious water stress" - what guarantees are there to enable a constant water supply for the new town and Waterbeach village. How will Wicken Fen and the Cam Washes be safeguarded? It is not acceptable that quote " a key priority for development will be to promote water efficiency" what guarantees and strategies will there be to ensure a constant supply of water for a population of 31,000 residents plus others (numbers unknown) accessing the site on a 24/7 basis? Will there be provision for hydrants for fire and rescue to access in case of emergency?
