The District Centre looks great but will only be useful to those in East Chesterton if it is easily accessible from the area. Currently the Mortlock Estate is closed in by a wall along Nuffield Road, and an industrial estate between us and the busway. If these barriers can be overcome then the Centre will be really exciting for us. If not it is likely to be a long way round to get to.

It would be great if the new homes really are "genuinely affordable" and if you actually get a good amount of floorspace and quality for the price. Recent new developments (e.g. the one at the end of Lovell Road) are not what most people would class as "genuinely affordable"
