Policies Map

Representation ID: 214412

Received: 05/09/2026

Respondent: East West Rail Company

Agent: Adams Hendry Consulting Ltd

Representation Summary:

In line with paragraph 24 of the EWR safeguarding guidance, the Policies Map should identify land safeguarded by the Safeguarding Directions. It should be updated to reflect the current safeguarded land set out in the June 2026 Directions, with further updates made before Plan submission to reflect any subsequent revisions. This will facilitate early engagement between developers and the EWR Co, enabling potential interactions with EWR to be identified and addressed at an early stage and reducing the risk of EWR Co recommendations for refusal at planning application stage.
