I support your vision, development strategy and development specifics for the Local Plan. I understand that some of the specifics are dependent on adequate infrastructure including water, which is as it should be.

Policy S/GB: The Cambridge Green Belt

It is important to maintain the Green Belt, in particular, the West Fields to retain decent walks and the clear views from Red Meadow Hill towards Cambridge.
It is particularly important that Cambridge does not just become an urban sprawl and that there are significant green areas for people to visit and walk in away from built-up areas, so preserving the Green Belt as much as possible is a very important planning principle. In particular, the preservation of the West Fields, south of the West Cambridge site and to the west of Gough Way, should be a key plank to ensure that there all clear views from Red Meadow Hill in Coton towards Cambridge. This was a great benefit to Cambridge residents during COVID lock-downs where a decent walk in the countryside was possible as well as resting and being able to admire Cambridge from Red Meadow Hill.
