Objection is raised in respect of the position of the development extents boundary in the south eastern part of the settlement of Guilden Morden. Reserved Matters and outline permission was granted to for construction of 16 new houses that is now completed. The site is enclosed on all sides by a strong woodland / tree belts and to the east by Trapp Road and is alongside retained paddock land. The proposed DDE cuts across the internal access driveway. The current boundary alignment is unsound as it is not justified on the facts on the ground, would not prove effective in its application as a result. It should be amended to better reflect the existing features on the site. Amendments proposed in the red line illustration would not adversely impact or harm the stated objectives of the development extents policy.
That the boundary is amended to follow the defensible boundaries of the woodland/tree belt along Trapp Road to the east and the driveway to the south.(Please see attached Representation Note)
