Meldreth is designated a Group Village as per policy S/SH - we agree with this designation and the implications for limited new housing developments (under 9 and 10). To paraphrase Residential development up to an indicative maximum scheme size of 8 dwellings, exceptionally up to about 15 dwellings where this would make the best use of a single brownfield site.

Meldreth is also specifically mentioned in respect of the 'Eternit Site' as per policy J/NE - we agree. Local employment of all types is important for sustainable village life and we are happy with the continued use, and possible expansion of business activities on this existing brownfield site.
