Although some red brick buildings in the wider area, closer to the site many of the properties are in Cambridge brick (see full response for details). Therefore it would be more approriate to reference this brick. It would also be helpful to reference roof materials.

3.43 Although there are red brick buildings in the wider area, for example on the newer properties around Gazelle Way and along March Lane etc, closer to the site many of the properties are in Cambridge/gault brick eg many of the traditional old buildings, the barns, Uphall House, St Andrew's Church and wall, the post war housing at Teversham Drift, some of the old Victorian cottages along Church End and the new housing off Church End and on the edge of Teversham.. Cherry Hinton Hall is also in Cambridge brick. Therefore, we suggest that it would be more appropriate to reference this brick. It might also be helpful to reference the predominant roof materials as this helps to shape the character of the area.
