North East Cambridge Area Action Plan Issues and Options 2019

Representation ID: 33048

Received: 25/03/2019

Respondent: Mr Roger Tomlinson

Representation Summary:

Agree that NEC should not be "another indistinguishable generic local centre or shopping parade". It could be a good alternative to the City Centre for some provision which inevitably generates people movements such as leisure and entertainment. Cambridgeshire lacks a major concert hall and the NEC area is next to a station with good transport links and easy access from the A14 and A10 so would be an excellent location, likely to stimulate an evening economy and quality businesses and restaurants.
