Cambridge Water support the inclusion in planning permissions the BREAAM communities technical standards, and welcome engagement with the master planner to set design standards for the development. We would advocate that water consumption standards are 80 l/p/d, as the development is in an area of water stress, with increasing water demands due to growth and predicted reductions in water availability. We would be happy to collaborate on any water management strategy and identify opportunities for design options to reduce water consumption
