PROVISION OF HEALTH FACILITY
The provision in the SPD is woefully inadequate as stated in item 41 of the Infrastructure Delivery Plan on page 81.
The Cambourne surgery referred to is already over capacity and it takes weeks to get appointments. An extension to that is not going to be sufficient for an additional 9000+ residents of the proposed new village. There is no capacity at other local surgeries for example at Bourn.
Recommendation:
The SPD should require provision of a standalone doctor's surgery to make it easier to find a business that would take it on and provide much needed health care.
